Maison Martin Margiela Vintage 1994 'Reproduction of a Series of Old Garments' Grey Striped 1940s English Jacket

Rare and phenomenal vintage piece by Maison Martin Margiela, from 1994 - his 'Reproduction of a Series of Old Garments', shown notably in both Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter. Noted as a reproduction of a 'Jacket of a Two Piece Suit 1940s England', in a deep charcoal grey lightweight wool with a subtle pinstripe. Impeccable darts and tailoring throughout. Single button closure at front. Decorative pocket slits at front hips. Exposed topstitch details along the collar and edges. Padded, prominent shoulder. Fully lined in grey flannel at the body with white/striped sleeves of viscose. Single button replacement sewn in at the inner sleeve.
